WHAT ARE WE OFFERING?

This role is responsible for ensuring the provision of efficient, effective and safe catering, cleaning and laundry services for patients and staff, meeting all relevant legislative requirements.

You will oversee daily operations including workforce management, operational planning, financial management and purchasing, while maintaining an effective continuous quality improvement cycle. The role may also require you to perform operational duties at short notice to ensure continuity of service delivery.

This is an opportunity to lead a dedicated team, drive service excellence and maintain high standards of safety, compliance and customer service within a healthcare environment.

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE?

  • Lead day-to-day catering and cleaning operations, including staff supervision, rostering, performance management and workforce planning.
  • Oversee financial performance, purchasing and budget control to ensure services meet resource allocations.
  • Manage food safety, infection control, quality systems and continuous improvement activities to maintain accreditation and compliance.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture, ensure WHS compliance, manage records and uphold SA Health policies and legislative requirements.
