Join Our Team as an Accident and Emergency Clerk!

Are you ready to make a difference in a fast-paced environment? We are seeking a dedicated Accident and Emergency Clerk to join our dynamic Emergency Department team. In this critical role, you will be at the forefront of patient care, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Register emergency and elective admissions to the Emergency Department promptly and accurately.
  • Perform a variety of clerical duties to meet the diverse needs of the Emergency Department and Medical Records office.
  • Prioritise tasks effectively to support the urgent demands of the service.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate patient records and facilitate communication between clinical staff and patients.
  • Provide a welcoming and professional first point of contact for patients and visitors.

What We're Looking For:

  • Effective Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with staff and the public.
  • Confidentiality: Proven ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of work.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team and under limited supervision.
  • Resilience Under Pressure: Capability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Solid computer and data entry skills, with experience in administrative services.
  • Customer Service Expertise: Experience in dealing with customers and conflict situations.
  • It is highly desirable that you have prior knowledge and experience in Sunrise
