Care for a Community That Cares for You – Registered Nurse at Elliston Hospital

Join a welcoming beachside town and make a real difference in a community that values quality healthcare. This role offers the chance to enjoy beautiful beaches and outdoor adventures while providing essential nursing and/or midwifery services.

At this level, you’ll progress from a developing practitioner to a confident, proficient professional, honing your skills through ongoing development and practical experience. You’ll take pride in delivering high-quality nursing and midwifery care, while supporting and guiding others, all within a rewarding rural setting focused on aged care and emergency services.

If you are passionate about rural nursing, enjoy community engagement, and want to grow your professional skills in a supportive environment, we’d love to hear from you.

What We're Looking For:

  • Are you a registered Nurse or Nurse/Midwife who’s ready to bring your skills, compassion, and professionalism to a community‑focused rural health team?
  • Do you communicate with confidence and care, using your problem‑solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills to build strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues?
  • Are you adaptable, creative, and committed to excellence, using your nursing expertise, understanding of relevant standards, and experience caring for people with dementia to provide safe, person‑centred care?
  • Do you thrive in a multidisciplinary environment, balancing priorities, maintaining confidentiality, and contributing to quality improvement while delivering meaningful, family‑centred support?
