Join our dedicated Noarlunga Community Team Mood as a Clinical Nurse and make a real difference in the lives of people experiencing mental health challenges across Adelaide's southern region!

Working within the Southern Adelaide Local Health Network, you'll be part of a multidisciplinary team providing specialist mental health services to individuals and families in their community settings. This role combines clinical excellence with community engagement, allowing you to develop meaningful therapeutic relationships while supporting people on their recovery journey.

About the role: 

Reporting to the Team Manager, Duties for the role will include: 

  • Provide comprehensive mental health assessments and interventions
  • Deliver evidence-based nursing care in community settings
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalised care plans
  • Support individuals and families through crisis intervention and ongoing care
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in case reviews

About you:

  • Registered as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds a current practicing certificate.  Must be enrolled in an approved mental health course or hold a qualification in mental health practice
  • Effective communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and meet set timelines, whilst working under minimal supervision.
  • Ability to be creative, innovative and flexible when approaching issues within the clinical setting.

To be considered for the RN2C (Clinical Nurse) level you must have at least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experience with experience in the leadership and direction of student nurses, enrolled nurses, and less experienced registered nurses.
