Part Time Patient Services Clerk - Clare Hospital

Join SA Health at Clare Hospital and make a meaningful difference in your community! We are seeking a dedicated Patient Services Clerk to provide exceptional administrative support in our 24/7 healthcare environment.

About the Opportunity

This temporary contract position (ending 30 October 2026) offers flexible part-time hours within our rotating seven-day, 24-hour roster. You will work autonomously while being part of a supportive team at the Yorke and Northern Local Health Network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage provisional registration for all overnight and day inpatients
  • Process planned and unplanned patient activity with accuracy and timeliness
  • Deliver high-quality, confidential administrative services to clients, staff and visitors
  • Provide switchboard services for the Health Unit and Community Health
  • Handle filing, scanning and collating of medical case notes
  • Support inpatient, outpatient and emergency department registration processes
