Join us as an Enrolled Nurse! 

Limestone Coast Local Health Network is offering the opportunity to join the Mount Gambier Nursing Bank as an Enrolled Nurse, providing flexible employment options including ongoing, temporary, part-time or casual work. This is not an application for a specific vacancy, but an opportunity to be considered for placement into a Resource Pool and engaged as positions become available. You will work within Mount Gambier & Districts Health Service across a range of clinical areas, supported by experienced teams, preceptors and mentors, while enjoying a rewarding nursing role in a vibrant regional community known for its lifestyle, natural beauty and strong sense of connection.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Registered Nurses/Midwives in the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred nursing care within your scope of practice.
  • Undertake and assist with routine and specialised nursing procedures in accordance with care plans, policies and professional standards.
  • Monitor patient condition, recognise clinical deterioration and escalate concerns appropriately.
  • Contribute positively to teamwork, quality improvement activities and a supportive, respectful workplace culture.

What we’re looking for:

  • Enrolled or eligible for enrolment as an Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, holding a current practising certificate.
  • A team-oriented clinician with experience delivering nursing care in a healthcare setting under appropriate supervision.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage respectfully with people of all ages, backgrounds and cultures.
  • A professional who demonstrates sound clinical judgement, maintains confidentiality and is committed to safe, evidence-based practice.
