Are you looking to contribute your skills and make a difference in community health? We are seeking dedicated Health Information Officers to join our Clinical Support Team within the Community & Allied Health Services Division. In this vital role, you’ll be the first point of contact for clients and staff, helping ensure smooth and efficient operations in client data management, medical records, and referrals. We are building a candidate pool for casual, full-time, and part-time positions, enabling us to get in touch as new vacancies become available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Register, maintain, and update client files in both electronic and paper-based systems.
  • Process and screen referrals efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of services.
  • Coordinate appointments and manage fleet vehicle bookings.
  • Maintain confidentiality and provide information to clients regarding available health services.
  • Assist in the administration of client data in systems such as the Client Management Engine (CME), Health Track (HT), and My Aged Care (MAC).
  • Contribute to quality improvement and health safety initiatives.
  • Act as Fire Warden for Community & Allied Health Services building and ensure the daily security of building as directed.

About You:

  • Experience in data entry and the use of office equipment, Microsoft Office, and health management systems.
  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and work with minimal supervision.
  • Commitment to confidentiality, empathy, and integrity in all client and staff interactions.
  • A team player who fosters positive relationships and supports continuous improvement.
  • It is highly desirable that you have knowledge of the health services available to the Yorke & Northern community and previous experience with CME (Client Management Engine) and Health Track
