About the role

As a Senior Pharmacist, you will lead the organisation, management and operation of a designated pharmacy area, delivering a comprehensive range of high-level pharmacy services. You’ll exercise independent judgement to provide medicines information, therapeutic advice and professional guidance to patients, medical and nursing staff, and other health professionals, ensuring all services align with hospital policies, divisional procedures, and professional standards.

This is a pivotal role focused on optimising patient outcomes through the safe, effective and cost-conscious use of pharmaceuticals. You will implement strategies that enhance the quality use of medicines while supporting a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment and contributing to the ongoing development of pharmacy practice within the hospital.

About You

We’re looking for a skilled and experienced pharmacist who can lead, inspire and contribute to high-quality pharmacy services in a hospital setting.

  • Registered pharmacist with extensive hospital pharmacy experience and strong technical knowledge

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving and data analysis skills

  • Demonstrated leadership, supervision and team collaboration abilities

  • Highly organised, detail-focused and able to manage complex tasks under tight deadlines
