Overview:

  • Contributing to the development, implementation and maintenance of a reporting and performance framework across SA Health including the reporting and monitoring of monthly financial, activity and workforce information.
  • Contributing to the development, implementation, and maintenance of a range of complex financial analyses.
  • Contributing to analysing the operation of SA Health entities, monitoring and assessing the financial risk of cost and activity pressures, developing, and recommending policies and strategies in order to ensure that services are provided with sustainable budget allocations.
  • Providing a range of timely and accurate financial and management reports including:
    • Preparing monthly management reports;
    • Providing specific financial information for the preparation of the monthly portfolio management finance reports; and
    • Preparing a broad range of other documents, reports or submissions as required. The South Australian public sector promotes diversity and flexible ways of working part-time.

Special Conditions

  • An appropriate degree in accounting, finance or economics majoring in accounting
