Join our multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, recovery-focused care in the community. In this role, you’ll coordinate and provide comprehensive clinical nursing care, including mental health and psychosocial assessments, risk assessment, care planning, and therapeutic interventions. Working closely with consumers, families, carers, Consultant Psychiatrists, and community partners, you’ll support stabilisation, rehabilitation, and long-term wellbeing. This is a predominantly clinical role with opportunities to take on portfolios aligned to your professional interests and career development, while contributing to a supportive, collaborative team environment.


About the role: 

Duties for the role will include:

  • Deliver high-quality, person-centred clinical care
    Provide comprehensive nursing care and case management, including assessment, therapeutic interventions, care planning, and daily monitoring of outcomes within a multidisciplinary setting.
  • Coordinate and oversee care within the team
    Lead and support the delivery of nursing care, ensure continuity and consistency of care, coordinate services across disciplines, and respond to immediate clinical or service delivery issues.
  • Provide clinical leadership, education, and support
    Act as a clinical resource and role model, support students and less experienced staff, contribute to a positive learning culture, and undertake portfolio or specialist responsibilities.
  • Contribute to service improvement, research, and governance
    Participate in quality improvement, research, audits, and change initiatives while working within legislative, policy, and professional governance frameworks.

About you:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Current registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) and a current practising certificate
  • Enrolment in an approved mental health course, or a recognised qualification in Mental Health practice
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills
  • A creative, innovative, and flexible approach to clinical practice
  • A compassionate, person-centred approach to care
  • The ability to work autonomously, with a strong commitment to ongoing professional development and learning

To be considered for the RN2C (Clinical Nurse) level you must have at least three years, full time equivalent, post registration experience with experience in the leadership and direction of student nurses, enrolled nurses, and less experienced registered nurses.
