  • Salary: $67,589 - $72,033 p.a | OPS3
  • Ongoing Full Time working over a 5-day roster 

 

As the Facilities Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe, efficient and uninterrupted operation of facilities across Bordertown Hospital & Aged Care and Keith and District Healthcare sites. You will be responsible for coordinating maintenance services, overseeing contractors, managing fire and safety programs, and ensuring all plant, equipment, buildings and grounds are maintained to required standards. This is a hands-on leadership role that supports clinical services by maintaining safe, functional and compliant environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage maintenance services to ensure the safe, timely upkeep of buildings, plant, equipment and grounds.
  • Lead day-to-day operations of the Maintenance Department, including supervision of staff and contractors.
  • Ensure ongoing functionality of plant and equipment in line with service agreements and compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate fire safety programs, evacuation procedures and emergency drills across sites.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance, safety and building records to meet accreditation and legislative standards.
  • Undertake and oversee hands-on maintenance activities, including carpentry, painting, plumbing, mechanical and grounds works as required.

  • Do you have previous experience in a similar facilities or trade-related role?
  • Are you able to prioritise workloads, meet deadlines and work effectively with minimal supervision?
  • Do you have the capability to supervise, direct and support staff and contractors?
  • Are you confident working across multiple sites and participating in on-call arrangements?
