About the role

Co-lead CAMHS with the Clinical Director to deliver high-quality mental health services for infants, children, adolescents and families across SA. Accountable to the COO, the role drives strategy, operations, culture and partnerships across WCHN, government and community.

Key duties of the role

  • Lead CAMHS strategy, service design and system reform with the Clinical Director
  • Manage statewide operations, resources and performance to meet safety and quality standards
  • Build partnerships across WCHN, LHNs, NGOs and government agencies
  • Drive workforce capability, culture, wellbeing and change management
  • Ensure strong governance, risk management and consumer-led service delivery

Skills and Experience

  • Relevant clinical degree with current registration (AASW, PsyBA, NMBA, OT or Speech Pathology)
  • Senior executive leadership experience in complex mental health services (10+ years)
  • Proven expertise in large-scale service reform and change management
  • Demonstrated governance, quality, safety and performance accountability experience
  • Strong commitment to culturally safe, trauma-informed and relational leadership
