Are you organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about making a difference in aged care? Kara House, a respected Aged Care Facility in Clare, is looking for an experienced Administration Officer to provide essential administrative support. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of an important facility while ensuring that residents’ records are managed efficiently and accurately.

In this role, you will handle a variety of tasks, including managing resident records, coordinating medical supplies and invoicing, maintaining spreadsheets, and assisting with the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission Accreditation process. You will be at the heart of our operations, providing high-quality service to residents, their families, and the dedicated staff team. Your role will support the overall effectiveness of Kara House, ensuring that the needs of our elderly residents are met with care and professionalism.

Essential Criteria

  • Proven experience with Microsoft Office Suite, spreadsheets, and desktop publishing.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team and independently with initiative.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly, professional approach.
  • Experience in administrative support, records management, and attention to detail.

  • DHS Working With Children Check (WWCC) 
  • DHS National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Check 
  • National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups required for this position (E.g. aged care employment or work involving vulnerable clients)
  • Immunisation Risk for this position is - Category B
