About the role

Join our dynamic Medical Imaging Department as a Sonographer and play a vital role in delivering high-quality ultrasound services across a diverse range of procedures. You will operate with a high degree of independence, using specialised equipment to perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations that directly contribute to accurate patient diagnosis and care. This role calls for advanced clinical expertise, professional judgement, and the ability to apply innovative scanning techniques to complex cases.

As a key member of our team, you will support the work of radiologists, referring clinicians, and surgeons by providing essential imaging services that guide patient treatment and management. About You

We are seeking a skilled and professional Sonographer who thrives in a dynamic clinical environment and contributes positively to patient care and team outcomes.

  • Accredited Sonographer (ASAR) with a post-graduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound

  • Demonstrated expertise performing complex and advanced ultrasound procedures

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, adaptable to change and departmental needs

  • Knowledge of safety, quality, and medico-legal responsibilities in medical imaging

South Australia Medical Imaging (SAMI) at the Repat is part of the largest public imaging provider in Australia! With a full range of diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional imaging services provided by a multidisciplinary team, SA Medical Imaging provides care to public and private inpatients, outpatients and emergency department patients. We have 6 metropolitan and 4 country locations in South Australian hospitals.
