WHAT ARE WE OFFERING?
Join the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network as a Paediatric Speech Pathologist and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a supportive, multidisciplinary Children’s Health and Development (CHAD) team, delivering evidence-based speech pathology services to children aged 0–7 years across Tanunda and Gawler.
You’ll develop skills in early intervention, developmental communication needs, NDIS-funded services and community-based models of care, while being supported through structured clinical supervision and strong professional networks. New graduates and soon-to-graduate students are encouraged to apply.

WHERE AND HOW YOU WILL WORK
Gawler and Tanunda offer a wonderful combination of scenic charm, community spirit, and convenient access to Adelaide. Gawler blends historic character with modern living, just 45 minutes from the city, while Tanunda, in the heart of the Barossa Valley, provides a vibrant regional lifestyle surrounded by beautiful vineyards and countryside. HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE?
- Deliver high-quality speech pathology assessment, early intervention, therapy and group programs for children with developmental needs.
- Work collaboratively within the CHAD multidisciplinary team to develop integrated care plans and ensure smooth transitions across home, community and early learning settings.
- Participate in supervision with a Senior Speech Pathologist and engage with regional speech pathology networks to support safe, effective clinical practice.
- Support families to navigate services, access appropriate interventions, and build communication skills in everyday routines.
- Contribute to continuous improvement through data collection, evaluation activities, and the development of resources that strengthen CHAD and BHFLHN services.
- Maintain accurate documentation and use relevant policies, procedures and systems to support safe, high-quality care.
