Overview:

  • The Registry Data Officer, Pregnancy Outcome Unit is responsible to the Coding Manager, POU for the accurate and timely coding of notifications of birth records and terminations of pregnancy for the perinatal statistics and termination of pregnancy collections. The incumbent examines, interprets and codes pregnancy data from notifications and related source documents and performs quality assurance, provides technical support for registry developments, assists report preparation and undertakes special projects as required.

Criminal History Screening Requirement

Immunisation Risk for this position is Category C (minimal patient contact)

SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
