**New 6-Bed Mental Health Sub-Acute and Rehabilitation Service!**

 

The Limestone Coast Local Health Network is pleased to invite applications for a Team Leader to support the operation of our new 6-bed Mental Health Sub-Acute and Rehabilitation Service (MHSARS) in Mount Gambier. This role is available until 11 September 2026 and offers an exceptional opportunity to step into a pivotal leadership position within a developing and innovative mental health service.

In this role, you will provide essential clinical and operational leadership, guiding a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, high-quality, recovery-focused care. You will support the coordination of service delivery, foster a positive and collaborative team culture, and ensure continuity and quality of care for consumers during this backfill period. Working closely with government and non-government providers, you will play a key role in strengthening partnerships and promoting integrated service delivery.

Open to both RN3 and AHP3 clinicians, this is an excellent opportunity to apply advanced mental health expertise, lead a dedicated team, and contribute to meaningful consumer outcomes within the Limestone Coast community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead clinical and operational functions to ensure safe, high-quality, recovery-focused care
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary team performance, supervision, and development
  • Strengthen service integration through partnership with consumers, carers, and external providers
  • Drive quality improvement, risk management, and evidence-based practice across the unit
