Join Mount Gambier and Districts Health Service as our Medical Concierge, supporting newly recruited medical practitioners and their families with seamless relocation and integration. This role is your chance to make a meaningful impact on workforce retention, employee satisfaction, and community connection while working in a dynamic, community-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate relocation logistics, including temporary accommodation, utilities, and local orientation.
  • Conduct welfare check-ins during the first three months and provide ongoing family support.
  • Connect recruits and their families to schools, healthcare, childcare, employment, and recreational opportunities.
  • Support professional onboarding by liaising with clinical departments and administrative teams.

Applicant information

Salary: $67,589 - $72,033 p.a + Superannuation + Leave Loading + Salary Sacrifice Benefits

The South Australian public sector promotes diversity and flexible ways of working part-time. Applicants are encouraged to discuss the flexible working arrangements for this role.

Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements.

Prior to employment with the Department the successful candidate will be required to provide:

  • A National Police Check (NPC) is required prior to employment in SA Health which must be renewed every three years.
  • A Working with Children Check (WWCC) is required prior to employment with SA Health which must be renewed every five years before expiry.
  • If you are not an Australian citizen or permanent resident, you will also need to provide a copy/proof of a valid appropriate visa along with an extract of a Visa Entitlement Verification Online (VEVO) report from the Department of Home Affairs that can support your application.

Immunisation Risk for these positions are - Category A 

SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
