About the role

Provide expert financial, HR and business support across the Division of Paediatric Medicine. Lead improvement initiatives, advise leaders on workforce and budget matters, and ensure effective operational and strategic outcomes.

Key duties of the role

  • Monitor budgets, expenditure and FTE to ensure resources align with divisional priorities and funding allocations
  • Provide HR advice across recruitment, performance, change management and employee relations
  • Lead process improvement projects that enhance efficiency, compliance and service delivery
  • Contribute to business planning and workforce strategy, ensuring alignment with organisational goals

Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in financial and HR management within a complex organisation
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted stakeholder relationships
  • Proven leadership capability and confidence to guide teams through change and improvement
  • Solid understanding of HR legislation, workforce planning and business systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR/Payroll systems
