About the role

The Project Officer reports to the Manager, Strategy and Reform and supports delivery of strategic projects across CaFHS and Community Services. The role provides project and executive support, coordinates governance, reporting and stakeholder engagement to achieve WCHN priorities.

Key duties of the role

  • Support delivery of strategic projects aligned to WCHN and CaFHS plans
  • Assist development of project plans, documentation, reports and briefings
  • Monitor milestones, risks, issues and actions using project tools
  • Coordinate governance processes, meetings, agendas and minutes
  • Support stakeholder and consumer engagement and project communication

Skills and Experience

  • Experience providing project and administrative support in a complex environment
  • Knowledge of project management principles, tools or governance processes
  • Experience preparing agendas, minutes, reports and managing action lists
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently with minimal supervision
