In this pivotal role, you will use your clinical expertise and leadership capability to guide a multidisciplinary team, ensure excellence in resident care, and support a positive and progressive workplace culture. As a key leader within the service, you will work closely with the Executive Officer/Director of Nursing and Midwifery to drive best practice, service improvement and safe, high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide effective leadership, coordination and oversight of care delivery to ensure continuity, quality and positive resident outcomes.
  • Manage staffing, skill mix, rosters, resources and workflow to support safe and efficient operations.
  • Lead quality, safety, and risk management processes using contemporary information systems and evidence-based practice.
  • Foster a positive team culture, support performance development, and promote high standards of professional nursing practice.
