Rewarding Opportunity: Community Support Worker – Eyre & Far North LHN

Join a dynamic team delivering person-centred care under the Consumer Directed Care model, where you’ll help empower clients to maintain independence and choice in their daily lives.

As a Community Support Worker, you’ll provide essential support services including personal care, meal preparation, cleaning, transport, and social support to older adults, people with disabilities, and residents in aged care facilities. This role offers the flexibility to work closely with consumers, their families, and other health professionals to deliver high-quality, responsive care tailored to individual needs.

What We're Looking For:

  • Flexibility, empathy, and strong communication skills to work effectively with consumers and their families.
  • Ability to work independently and responsibly in a community or residential setting.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality care and supporting consumer choice and independence.
  • Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
  • Certificate 3 in Individual Support (Ageing, Disability or Home and Community).
  • Current drivers licence and willingness to drive, along with access to a reliable, registered and insured (minimum of third-party insurance) motor vehicle.

Applicant Information

This is a part time vacancy, working 38 hours per fortnight and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.
