Join SA Health as a Part-time Cook at Ceduna Multi Purpose Service, where you'll play an essential role in delivering nutritious, quality meals to our community. This ongoing position offers flexible 7 day rostering within the Eyre and Far North Local Health Network, perfect for those seeking work-life balance in regional South Australia.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare and plate nutritious meals to high standards
  • Manage food ordering and inventory control
  • Ensure quality control throughout food production
  • Maintain menu selections that meet dietary requirements
  • Oversee efficient food service distribution

What We're Looking For

  • WHA4: Enthusiasm for food service with willingness to learn
  • WHA5: Trade qualifications or equivalent cooking experience
  • Commitment to food safety and quality standards
  • Ability to work independently in a regional setting

The Region

The Eyre and Far North Local Health Network (EFNLHN) covers almost 340,000 square kilometres of spectacular South Australia, supporting about 40,000 people living around Eyre Peninsula and the Far North of the state.

The Ceduna District Health Services is run by the Eyre and Far North Local Health Network and includes Ceduna Hospital. Ceduna Hospital has 15 inpatient beds and provides services including emergency, surgical, general medicine, birthing, renal dialysis, diagnostic radiology and outpatients. There are also residential aged care services provided within the hospital, at the Kuhlmann Wing and Ceduna Senior Citizens Village. There is also a GP family practice, Community Health services, Allied Health services, and Child, Adolescent and Adult Mental Health services offered on the hospital site.
