About the Role:

As a Services Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of the health unit through catering, cleaning, and general housekeeping services. Your responsibilities may include preparing, serving, and delivering meals to clients, ensuring high hygiene standards, and supporting a comfortable environment for all.

You may also assist with laundry duties, contributing to the overall efficiency and presentation of the facility. In this hands-on and rewarding role, your attention to detail and commitment to quality service will directly support the wellbeing of patients and the success of the healthcare team.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in any of the following areas: housekeeping, cooking/catering and laundry.
  • Experience in the use of computer packages e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Word, Excel.
  • Experience in exercising own judgment and initiative in the day-to-day execution of a position.

Applicant Information

This is a part time vacancy, working 64 hours per fortnight and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.

Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements:

  • National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups required for this position (E.g. aged care employment or work involving vulnerable clients)
  • Immunisation Risk for this position is - Category A
