Overview:

  • The Director, Commercial and Legal, New Women’s and Children’s Hospital Project (Project) is accountable to the Project Director New WCH, for the strategic leadership and oversight of the project’s commercial strategy and business development, procurement and contract management, document control, legal compliance and governance obligations.
  • The role is responsible for ensuring effective management of the procurement activities of a large complex project to enable the achievement of required results in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.
  • The role is responsible for the management of document control functions, to ensure accurate and secure management of all Project related documents in accordance with the SA Health Corporate Records Management Policy.
  • The role is responsible for ensuring the Project’s legal compliance and integrity in accordance with relevant policies and legislation.
  • The Director is responsible for the contractual arrangements of the Head Contractor and or other delivery contractors engaged by the State , ensuring continued alignment with the agreed Project brief.

Criminal History Screening Requirement

  • A ‘National Police Certificate’ NPC (also known as a ‘Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check’ NCCHC)  for employment involving no contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position (general employment)
  • A DHS ‘Working With Children Check’ (WWCC) is required for this position.

Immunisation Risk for this position is Category C (minimal patient contact)

SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
