About the Role

As the Administrative Officer – Emergency Services, you will be at the heart of supporting our fast-paced Emergency Department. Working closely with medical, nursing, and clinical staff, you will provide comprehensive administrative support that helps ensure the smooth delivery of critical care to patients. Your role will be central to maintaining efficiency, accuracy, and a compassionate service that makes a difference during some of life’s most urgent moments.

In this role, you will contribute to a collaborative team environment, where professionalism, confidentiality, and quality customer service are highly valued. You’ll play a key part in supporting best practice systems and processes, enabling the department to operate effectively while keeping the patient experience at the centre of all we do.   • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to show empathy, work under pressure, and adapt to change with resilience

  • Demonstrated experience in providing quality customer service, accurate data entry, and effective administrative support using Microsoft Office

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, showing initiative, problem-solving skills, and a resourceful approach to challenges

  • Sound understanding of customer service principles, administrative practices, and relevant Equal Opportunity and Work Health & Safety policies
