About the Role

As the Executive and Project Officer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Mental Health Clinical Program by providing high-level executive, secretariat and project support to the Program Director. From managing communications and preparing executive briefs, to developing project plans and implementing strategies, you will be central to ensuring the program delivers on its strategic and operational goals. Your strong organisational and administrative skills will help drive effective outcomes, while enabling the Program Director and wider leadership team to focus on delivering quality mental health services.

This role also provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to governance and project management across the program. You will support key committees, build strong connections with CALHN and other oversight bodies, and provide advice that anticipates emerging issues and priorities. By leading initiatives and fostering collaboration, you will play a vital part in strengthening systems, supporting innovation, and ensuring best practice across the Mental Health Clinical Program.

You are a highly organised and proactive professional who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys supporting leadership to achieve strategic outcomes. Your exceptional project management, communication, and analytical skills enable you to deliver high-quality results while fostering strong relationships with stakeholders.

  • Proven ability to provide executive support and manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and big-picture thinking.

  • Experienced in change management, performance monitoring, and delivering quality improvements in health services.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and data analysis, with knowledge of organisational management, WHS, and EEO principles.
