About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to manage a large and dynamic Food Service at the Women's and Children's Hospital.  The Food Services Manager is responsible for the strategic direction and operational leadership of the Food Services Department, catering to the needs of a vulnerable client base. 

Key duties of the role

  • Manage in-patient food production and service delivery and retail operations
  • Manage Infant Nutrition Breast Milk Bank
  • Manage functions and vending machine supplies

Skills and Experience

  • Significant experience in leading and managing large food service program/s in a health care setting, including retail operations and in-patient service delivery.
  • Demonstrated experience in embedding systems and aligned workforce culture that ensures compliance with food safety and work health safety frameworks.
  • Significant experience in effectively planning and managing the effective utilisation of food service assets, consumables and workforce budget, ensuring cost-effective service delivery.
  • Experience in designing and planning menus that meet a wide range of nutritional needs within a clinical setting.
