The Senior Commercial Manager, New Women’s and Children’s Hospital Project is accountable to the Director, Commercial and Legal for leading and managing critical and specialist programs, projects and services for the New WCH Project procurement, commercial and contract management functions. 

The role works within the New WCH Commercial and Legal Workstream leading, managing and undertaking critical risk management processes and risk assessments for complex and diverse commercial arrangements, including providing high level specialist advice consistent with agency and whole of government strategies, policies and priorities.

The Senior Commercial Manager oversees strategic decision making from a commercial perspective, contract negotiations, form and outcomes. It includes developing, reviewing, implementing and updating project commercial contract management processes, strategies, policies and practices to manage contract compliance. The position establishes, maintains and manages supplier, contractor and stakeholder relationships on high value/high risk contracts.

Criminal History Screening Requirement

  • A DHS ‘Working With Children Check’ (WWCC) is required for this position.

Immunisation Risk for this position is Category C (minimal patient contact)
