About the Opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Child and Family Health Service team as Referral Unit Officer, where you will be responsible for:

  • Providing confidential and accurate administrative support, ensuring timely processing and data integrity of CAFHS referrals across the state.
  • Managing client bookings and appointments efficiently, prioritizing urgent needs while delivering a customer-focused, professional service.
  • Maintaining and updating client information systems, contributing to continuous improvement and compliance with SA Health data standards.
  • Serving as a friendly and responsive point of contact for internal and external customers, handling enquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Collaborating with the team to foster a positive, safe work environment and support ongoing training and quality improvement initiatives.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Proven ability to organize workload, prioritize tasks, and maintain high accuracy in administrative duties.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and sensitively with diverse clients and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing effective administrative support, including data entry, information management, and use of Microsoft Office and other computer applications.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, adapt to changing environments, multitask, and solve problems independently and within a team.
  • Knowledge of health information systems and principles of confidentiality is preferred.
