About the role: 

Reporting to the Cardiology Operations Manager, some of your duties for the role will include:

  • Work with biostatistics, clinical research, operations management and external contractors when required to develop and build data management and analysis plans for specific projects
  • Manage FMC reporting mechanism of registries, including information for departmental and divisional audit meetings
  • Attend divisional and departmental meetings and contribute to and report on data management issues
  • Conduct data cleaning activities in accordance with specific data management plans
  • Support the Division of Medicine, Cardiac and Critical Care operations through accurate, timely data management and reporting, service improvement, and administration
  • Prepare, clean, manage and convert datasets for clinical and operational use
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy, ethical conduct, and SA Health standards

About you:

  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate effectively and to foster close working relationships with staff at all levels
  • Proven ability to work with data management and statistical software products (ie Stata, SAS, etc)
  • Ability to identify, analyse and recommend solutions to problems
  • Proven ability to work in Microsoft EXCEL and ACCESS database programs
