About the Role

As the Respiratory Clinical Trials Manager, you will play a vital role in shaping and leading high-quality clinical research within the Department of Respiratory Medicine. You will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of clinical trial management, from planning and budgeting to ethics submissions and the supervision of clinical research coordinators. With your strong clinical knowledge and leadership skills, you will ensure every trial is conducted to the highest standards, prioritising patient safety and wellbeing while adhering to ICH GCP guidelines and trial protocols.

This role offers a unique opportunity to combine your clinical expertise with research leadership, contributing to advancements in respiratory care and patient outcomes. You will work closely with principal investigators and research teams, providing guidance and oversight to support excellence in trial delivery. About You

You are an experienced and dedicated nursing professional who brings strong leadership, clinical knowledge and a commitment to delivering excellence in patient care and research. Your ability to work collaboratively, foster innovation and support others will see you thrive in this role.

  • Registered Nurse with current practising certificate and minimum 3 years’ post-registration experience.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills with proven ability in problem solving, negotiation and conflict resolution.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, drive change, and foster a supportive team environment.

  • Sound knowledge of clinical research principles, ICH GCP guidelines, and contemporary healthcare standards.
