The Service Delivery & Business Administration Services Branch focuses on improving the reliability and performance of DHSA services and ensures these services remain aligned to changing customer needs. Business unit accountabilities include service level management, incident and problem management, enterprise systems monitoring, cyber and information security services, continuous improvement, demand management, workforce planning, human resources, procurement, finance and budgets, training and development and facilities management.

 

About the role

The role is accountable for evolving the organisation’s understanding of present and emerging cyber security and technology risks, which will include maintaining a future-fit cyber security strategy and roadmap. This role will take a lead role in driving the improvement of the organisation’s information security posture.

This role will also lead the establishment of both the DHSA’s Cyber Security Service Catalogue and Cyber Security Operating Model and lead the engagement with LHNs to further strengthen SAH’s cyber security capabilities.

 

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Create, influence and support the business transformation and change management required for SAH to welcome cloud technology.
  • Successfully implement Internet and Cloud Gateways.
  • Develop, maintain and manage a roadmap to implement the remaining Phases of HSNet2 and Mobile Messaging Programs.
  • Work within DHSA and across LHNs and agencies to understand the landscape of strategies, programs and projects and their dependencies.
  • Influencing and supporting the management of timeframes to ensure the successful implementation of all Digital Foundations phases, programs and projects.

 

About You

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Experience in leading, mentoring and developing high performance teams especially through periods of change.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to develop and maintain collaborative and respectful relationships, resolve sensitive issues, and conflict and prepare high level documents, reports, submissions and briefings.
  • Experience in leading a large and complex organisation at a senior level, ensuring the translation of priorities into executed deliverables.

Criminal History Screening Requirement

  • A National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving no contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position (general employment) no older than 12 months at time of application.

Immunisation Risk for this position is Category C (minimal patient contact).

SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.

Special Conditions

  • An appropriate tertiary qualification and/or extensive experience in the delivery of Cyber Security programs.
