About the Role:

The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking a Clinical Midwife to join the Northern Links clinic within the Women and Children's Division.

The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) is a leading provider of public healthcare services in South Australia.

The Northern Links clinic creates opportunities for pre-birth planning for antenatal women with high-risk psychosocial issues, where there would be likely be risk of harm to the infant or removal of the infant at birth. The Northern Links clinic provides continuity of care for women during their pregnancy and after birth, in that they can be simultaneously reviewed by midwifery, medical and psychosocial staff in the community.

As a valued member of the clinic, you will be part of a dedicated team providing exemplary midwifery care, guidance and support to expectant mothers throughout their pregnancy and postpartum. You will be responsible for providing holistic care collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure a seamless approach to maternal and neonatal wellbeing.

In this position, you will have the chance to work alongside a team of highly skilled professionals, leveraging your expertise and compassion to ensure the best possible outcomes for mothers and their newborns. With a strong emphasis on evidence-based practice and continuous learning, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of midwifery care within our esteemed healthcare network.

To be eligible for this position, you must be registered or eligible for registration as a Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate, OR registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse and Midwife by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
