About the role

As the Administration Officer – Radiology, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality administrative support within a fast-paced and critical healthcare environment. Working under the guidance of the Administration Coordinator and Administration Manager, you will contribute to the smooth operation of the Radiology Unit, ensuring services are provided efficiently and effectively on a 24/7 basis. Your work will directly support clinical teams in delivering timely diagnostic imaging services to patients, requiring strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise competing demands.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who thrives in a collaborative and dynamic setting. You will be instrumental in maintaining accurate records, managing enquiries, coordinating appointments, and supporting the broader administrative functions that underpin the unit’s round-the-clock operation. In this pivotal role, your contribution will help uphold service excellence and ensure optimal patient care outcomes in one of the most critical departments of the hospital.

You are a self-motivated and adaptable professional with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality customer service and administrative support. You thrive in fast-paced, team-oriented environments and bring a courteous, calm, and helpful approach to all interactions, even under pressure.

  • Proven ability to manage competing tasks independently, using initiative and attention to detail to meet strict deadlines in high-pressure settings.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, confidential, and culturally sensitive approach to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated experience in delivering quality customer service, data entry, and administrative support using Microsoft Office programs.

  • Sound understanding of WHS, Equal Opportunity principles, and best practice in general office administration and client-facing roles.
