Ceduna District Health Services is calling on enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our Casual Pool as a Services Assistant/Cleaner. Whether it's helping prepare meals, ensuring clean, welcoming spaces, or assisting with laundry, your contribution will play a vital role in the wellbeing of patients and staff.

This diverse role involves a mix of catering, cleaning, and utility duties, including preparing and plating meals, general housekeeping, handling laundry, and supporting infection control and safety practices. You'll be a key part of a supportive team, reporting to the General Services Team Leader, with your work contributing to the highest standards of care.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Food preparation, plating, and delivery

  • General and deep cleaning, including window and carpet care

  • Laundry tasks and minor garment repairs

  • Supporting hygiene, safety and infection control protocols

  • Contributing to a responsive and respectful team culture

About Ceduna District Health Service

The Ceduna District Health Services is run by the Eyre and Far North Local Health Network and includes Ceduna Hospital. Ceduna Hospital has 15 inpatient beds and provides services including emergency, surgical, general medicine, birthing, renal dialysis, diagnostic radiology and outpatients.

There are also residential aged care services provided within the hospital, at the Kuhlmann Wing and Ceduna Senior Citizens Village. There is also a GP family practice, Community Health services, Allied Health services, and Child, Adolescent and Adult Mental Health services offered on the hospital site.
