About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Urology Clinical Nurse to join the Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN). This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to provide advanced clinical care and support within a dynamic and collaborative environment. Working closely with the Urology Nurse Consultant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-level nursing services, including the facilitation of Intravesical and urodynamic clinics. You will also contribute to the education of patients and nursing staff, sharing your specialist knowledge to ensure excellence in urological care.

As a Clinical Nurse, you will continue to focus on hands-on clinical practice while also taking ownership of portfolio responsibilities that align with your interests and career goals. Your role will include supporting the ongoing development and review of Organisational Work Instructions (OWIs) and Clinical Information Systems (CIS), helping to drive quality improvements across the service. About You

You are a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse with a strong foundation in urological or surgical nursing. You bring a patient-centred approach, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement in clinical care.

  • Current registration (or eligibility) with the Nursing of Australia and at least 3 years' post-registration experience

  • Recent experience in urological and/or surgical nursing, with competence in relevant clinical practices (ANZUNS preferred)

  • Strong communication, leadership, and teaching skills, with the ability to guide junior staff and educate patients and families

  • Sound knowledge of clinical governance, healthcare legislation, and quality improvement systems in a multidisciplinary setting
