About the Role

Step into a dynamic leadership position as Nurse Unit Manager at Adelaide Sexual Health Centre (ASHC), where you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care in a specialised and inclusive environment. In this pivotal role, you’ll oversee the day-to-day coordination of clinic activities, working closely with the medical head of unit, while leading and supporting a dedicated nursing and multidisciplinary team. About You

You are a skilled and motivated nurse leader with a strong background in sexual health and a passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care. You thrive in collaborative environments and are ready to guide and support a dedicated team in an inclusive, fast-paced outpatient setting.

  • Qualifications and Registration
    Registered or eligible for registration with the Nursing Board of Australia, holding (or eligible for) a current practising certificate.

  • Leadership and Teamwork
    Proven leadership experience with strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.

  • Specialist Experience
    At least five years of post-registration experience in sexual health or a related clinical area, with demonstrated success in team supervision, service management, and stakeholder engagement.

  • Professional Knowledge
    Strong understanding of sexual health nursing, national healthcare standards, recent developments in STI/HIV care, and relevant legislation and codes of practice.
