About the Role

Join a dynamic and compassionate team within the Mental Health Clinical Program, where you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering recovery-oriented care across acute, community, and rehabilitation settings for adults and older persons. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be part of an integrated, multidisciplinary community team that is dedicated to supporting consumers with complex mental health needs. Your expertise will be central to conducting evidence-based assessments, developing case formulations, and providing both individual and group therapy. You may also take on care coordination responsibilities for consumers actively engaged in psychological treatment.

This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with consumers, carers, colleagues, and external providers to co-design and implement care plans that enhance wellbeing and promote sustainable community living. You’ll contribute to a positive team culture through active participation in supervision, service planning, and continuous quality improvement initiatives. About You

We’re looking for a dedicated and skilled Clinical Psychologist with a strong commitment to recovery-focused mental health care and collaborative practice. To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • Qualifications and Registration
    A Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Clinical Psychology and general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA).

  • Clinical Expertise
    Strong skills in bio-psychosocial assessment, case formulation, and evidence-based psychological interventions for individuals, groups, and families.

  • Collaboration and Communication
    Proven ability to work effectively with consumers, carers, colleagues, and community services, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Professional Knowledge and Experience
    Sound understanding of mental health presentations, relevant legislation, ethical standards, and experience delivering individual and group therapy within mental health settings.
