About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Clinical Physiotherapist to provide expert clinical leadership in the delivery of high-quality physical ambulatory rehabilitation within the Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN). Based within the Division of Rehabilitation Services (DRS), you will lead a multidisciplinary team in delivering goal-driven, evidence-based interventions for clients with complex needs. This role is integral to CALHN’s early supported discharge and hospital avoidance initiatives, ensuring patients receive timely and effective care in the community.

As a clinical expert, you’ll provide advanced rehabilitation services across a broad spectrum of conditions including stroke, complex orthopaedic and presentations, amputees, vestibular dysfunction, spinal cord injury, and emerging conditions like Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) and Long COVID. In addition to direct care, you’ll act as a vital resource for staff, offering support, consultation and supervision, and contributing to the ongoing improvement of service delivery and client flow. About You

You are a highly skilled and motivated physiotherapist with the clinical leadership, judgement and experience to make a significant impact in ambulatory rehabilitation. You bring a client-centred approach, thrive in complex care environments, and are passionate about delivering high-quality outcomes as part of a multidisciplinary team.

  • You are a registered Physiotherapist with advanced clinical skills and experience managing complex neurological, orthopaedic, vestibular and psychosocial conditions.

  • You demonstrate strong leadership and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and guide others through supervision and education.

  • You have excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, allowing you to build rapport with clients, families, and colleagues while navigating challenging situations with empathy and professionalism.

  • You are adaptable and committed to continuous improvement, contributing to service development through quality improvement projects, Tele-health delivery, and professional development initiatives.
