About the Role:

The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking a Clinical Nurse who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of older individuals with mental health challenges to join our team within the Older Persons Mental Health Community service.

The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) is a leading provider of public healthcare services in South Australia.

As a Clinical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to our clients in the community setting. Your role will involve assessing and implementing individualised care plans, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and advocating for the needs of our older patients.

In addition to your general nursing duties, you will also take on the specialised role of Clozapine Portfolio Nurse. This will involve monitoring and supporting clients on the Clozapine Medication Program, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout their treatment.

To be eligible for this position, you must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate. Must be enrolled in an approved mental health course or hold a qualification in mental health practice.
