About the Opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity as a Casual Ward Clerk. The role provides a comprehensive confidential administrative service to the Surgical Wards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating and assisting hospital transfers, both intra and interstate, booking transport as directed
  • Preparing Medical and Private Health Assignment forms for the Public/Private patients to sign
  • Screening, directing, answering telephone enquiries and taking accurate messages
  • Establishing and maintaining Departmental filing systems
