Your new role:

As a Senior Project Officer with PSCF, you will play a key role in delivering essential project accounting services and ensuring effective financial management across the organisation. You will provide timely and accurate financial reports for projects, offer expert project accounting advice, and actively contribute to financial monitoring and the development of policies.

 You will undertake a variety of activities including but not limited to:

  • Delivering a range of project accounting functions to ensure consistency with established accounting standards.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of project financial accounting policies and procedures to improve work systems and efficiency.
  • Providing advice and support regarding accounting processes, procedures and reporting issues.
  • Providing financial documentation, reports and projects briefs as required.
  • Contributing to a work ethos that focuses on the achievement of identified service outcomes.

About you:

As the successful Senior Project Officer, you will champion the values of integrity and credibility and approach the role with a collaborative and consultative mindset. You will provide strategic advice which considers organisational factors and stakeholder needs. You will possess the following:

  • Proven ability to manage time effectively with high volumes of work and be receptive to new ideas and changing environments.
  • Demonstrated experience in undertaking capital project advice and budget managing functions.
  • Significant experience in the collection, analysis, and presentation of data, including the provision of advice and recommendations to support decision-making.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people both verbally and in writing, in particular the ability to produce written reports to assist executive and management decision making processes.
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting standards, structures, and practices.
