About the Role 

Join our dedicated team as a Psychiatrist, where you’ll play a crucial role in delivering exceptional mental health care. In this clinical leadership position, you will provide top-tier services to consumers, ensuring that your practice is safe, evidence-based, and consumer-focused. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, you will lead by example, fostering an environment of high standards in patient care while adhering to the policies and guidelines set by the Mental Health Clinical Program and the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists.

In addition to clinical duties, you’ll have the opportunity to shape the future of mental health by teaching and supervising RANZCP registrars, trainee medical officers, and medical students. Your expertise will contribute to quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and research activities, ensuring continuous professional development and the advancement of mental health services. About You 

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Psychiatrist who is passionate about making a positive impact in mental health care. Your expertise and commitment will help us provide the highest standard of clinical services to our consumers.

  • Qualifications: Hold an MBBS or equivalent, with specialist registration and RANZCP fellowship.
  • Clinical Practice: Demonstrate a high standard of clinical practice and a commitment to quality improvement.
  • Leadership & Communication: Exhibit strong leadership skills, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience: Bring clinical experience in public mental health services, along with a background in supervision and quality improvement activities.
