About The Role

As a Clinical & Care Governance Coordinator, you will support the delivery of quality, patient safety and clinical governance activities across the Limestone Coast Local Health Network, with a strong focus on clinical data reporting and analysis.

Working within the Clinical and Care Governance Unit, you will undertake multi-system data extraction, complex analysis and reporting to provide meaningful information that supports quality improvement and informed decision-making. You will coordinate quality projects and processes, develop reports, maintain registers and electronic quality systems, and contribute to accreditation, compliance, clinical risk and consumer engagement activities.

About You

You are an organised and analytical professional who can confidently interpret complex information and turn data into meaningful insights. You communicate effectively, manage competing priorities and work independently while contributing positively to a multidisciplinary team. You bring sound judgement, initiative and a commitment to continuous quality improvement.

To succeed in the Clinical & Care Governance Coordinator role, you will:

• Demonstrate the ability to analyse complex data and present information in a clear and meaningful context.
• Have experience preparing reports, briefings and correspondence of some complexity.
• Have proven experience undertaking project or research activities, including collecting, analysing and reporting on data.
• Demonstrate the ability to establish, maintain and review systems, practices, protocols and procedures while effectively managing competing priorities and deadlines.
• Have strong Microsoft Office skills, with advanced knowledge of Excel and working knowledge of data analytics software such as Microsoft Power BI highly desirable.

About Clinical and Care Governance

The Clinical and Care Governance Unit supports quality, patient safety, clinical risk, consumer feedback and governance activities across the Limestone Coast Local Health Network. The team works across the LHN to promote continuous quality improvement, support accreditation and compliance activities, monitor quality and clinical risk systems, coordinate reporting and provide meaningful information to support safe, effective and high-quality healthcare.

The unit works closely with staff and managers across LCLHN sites and within the broader clinical governance structure, supporting consistent approaches to quality outcomes, corrective actions, consumer engagement, clinical risk management and service improvement.

Conditions of Employment

• A current Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position.
• Immunisation Risk for this position is – Category B.
