About the Role

Join a leading Lung Function Laboratory as a Medical Scientist. You’ll deliver simple to complex lung function tests, support patients to reach best effort, and apply strong science to high quality results. You’ll also help shape quality, research and service accreditation.

Duties

  • Deliver lung function tests across a broad case mix
  • Operate and troubleshoot computer-based test systems
  • Coach patients to achieve best test effort
  • Apply scientific rigour to all laboratory work
  • Support quality, audit and accreditation needs
  • Build and trial new tests and methods
  • Support research, education and service improvement
  • Assist laboratory operations under senior guidance
