Overview:

We are seeking a Principal Project Officer with experience in public healthcare data, analytics, and reporting.

  • The Principal Project Officer - Data and Analytics is accountable to the Program Manager – Planned Care/Outpatients, and is responsible for the provision of an objective, accurate and responsive health data analysis and information delivery service that facilitates high quality strategic and business decision-making all levels of governance.
  • The Principal Project Officer is responsible for coordination of statewide contract functions for the Systemview data visualisation tool and other emerging future system wide digital elective surgery and outpatient tools in collaboration with SA Digital Health and Data and Analytics Branch.
  • The Principal Project Officer - Data and Analytics will liaise with key staff across the health system regarding data provision, data quality, and reporting requirements.
  • The Principal Project Officer - Data and Analytics will provide critical recommendations to guide strategy and policy by performing detailed clinical trend analysis including modelling, monitoring performance, and patient care pathway visualisation.
