 Please note that this position is multi-classified as either a AHP-1 or AHP-2, the classification will be determined by qualifications and experience.

  • Salary: AHP2 - $91,785 - $106,330 per annum (adjusted to hours worked) 

  • Temporary until 6 August 2027, Part-time (2 days/15 hours per week)

 

WHAT ARE WE OFFERING?  

We have two roles available at Southern Fleurieu Health Service in Victor Harbor. 

Join a dynamic and supportive multidisciplinary team as an Occupational Therapist - Inpatient/Community, delivering high-quality, person-centred care across both hospital and community settings. In this diverse role, you will utilise your clinical expertise to assess, plan, implement and evaluate occupational therapy services that support clients across acute inpatient wards, Care Pods and community-based programs, helping individuals achieve their goals and maintain independence.  

Or consider working within our compassionate and dedicated Palliative Care team as an Occupational Therapist, on a part-time temporary basis, providing specialist care to people living with life-limiting illnesses. In this rewarding role, you will apply your clinical expertise to deliver assessment, intervention and support services that enhance quality of life, promote independence and wellbeing, and assist clients and their families through every stage of their care journey. Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while contributing to the development of less experienced staff and students.

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE?  

You will……….  

  • Deliver high-quality, client-centred Occupational Therapy services to a range of clients at different ages and stages of life.  
  • Manage a complex and varied caseload with increasing autonomy, applying clinical judgement and evidence-based practice to assessment, intervention, health promotion and early intervention activities.  
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team and with external partners to provide coordinated, culturally safe care, particularly for rural, Aboriginal and diverse communities.  
  • Contribute to clinical leadership, supervision and workforce development by supporting junior staff, allied health assistants and students, while actively engaging in ongoing professional development and reflective practice.  
  • Support service quality and sustainability through effective documentation, workload management, data reporting, and participation in continuous improvement, service planning and evaluation activities.
