About the Role:

Make a meaningful difference every day by helping create a clean, welcoming, and supportive environment for patients and staff. As a Services Assistant, you'll provide efficient catering, cleaning, housekeeping, and laundry services, including preparing and delivering meals, to help ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the health unit.

What We're Looking For:

Essential Criteria 

• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Flexible, reliable, and able to meet deadlines while working across various settings.
• Basic knowledge of food safety, infection control, and safe work practices.
• Experience or exposure to housekeeping, catering, cleaning, or laundry services.
• Strong customer service skills, confidentiality, and basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office).

Desired Criteria 

• Year 11 completion and a current First Aid Certificate are desirable.
• Experience in housekeeping, catering, laundry, and basic Microsoft Office skills.
• Manual handling skills and an understanding of Equal Employment Opportunity principles.
