We are seeking a motivated and organised Volunteer Coordinator to lead and support our volunteer program across Mount Gambier Hospital and Country Health Connect. This is a rewarding opportunity to connect people with meaningful roles that enhance patient and community experiences.

About the Role

As the Volunteer Coordinator, you will oversee the recruitment, coordination and support of volunteers, ensuring a positive and effective program that meets both organisational and community needs.

You’ll work closely with staff and stakeholders to match volunteers to roles, while fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the recruitment, selection, onboarding and training of volunteers
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the volunteer program, including rostering and support
  • Provide leadership, guidance and conflict resolution for volunteers
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to align volunteer services with operational needs
  • Promote and grow the volunteer program through community engagement and communication
  • Ensure compliance with screening, training and policy requirements
  • Monitor, evaluate and report on program performance and outcomes

Our Organisation
